How to make New Year’s resolution:

The New Year is so close and now it is the time to check what are we going to do and how far did we go last year but… Are you just not feeling in the mood to take New Year’s resolutions? If so,  here are some tips that might be helpful in making your resolutions for the New Year and for your life

  • Stop Putting Things Off

Got a to-do list that extends to Timbuktu? Start slowly, tackling two to three items each day. It may help to reevaluate your priorities and see if there is anything you can simply cross off the list. Above all, try to focus on what makes you happy — and do it!

  • Try That Hobby

Have a hankering for gourmet cooking? Wish you could dance the tango? 2011 is your year, baby. Don’t put off fun activities that you’ve always wanted to try — especially if they’re active hobbies that you literally won’t be able to do forever. Now’s the time!

  • Find alternatives:

Find alternatives to a behavior that you want to change, and make this part of your resolution plan. So you want to quit smoking but you smoked to relax yourself? What other forms of relaxation are available to you?

  • Set your priority:

Above all, aim for things that are truly important to you, not what you think you ought to do or what others expect of you.

  • Start with taking small steps

Break down large goals into smaller ones. For instance, commit to losing weight by resolving to join a gym and improve your eating habits.

All the previous is to improve our way of life through taking small effective steps, but it is meaningless if the true will is not enough to accomplish it
