Responsibilities
Program Support and Coordination:

- Assist in setting up work plans for field activities in alignment with project objectives and donor requirements.
- Support the project field team in coordinating and supervising activities, addressing challenges during implementation, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders, community groups, and relevant agencies to facilitate the successful implementation of livelihood initiatives.
- Assessment and Implementation:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of livelihood support programs, including vocational training, small business development, and income-generating activities.
- Participate in assessments to identify livelihood needs and opportunities within the affected community.
- Provide support and guidance to beneficiaries to enhance their skills and capacity for sustainable livelihoods.


Reporting and Monitoring:

- Assist in ensuring timely and accurate internal and external project reporting in compliance with donor requirements.
- Support the development and enhancement of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) tools in collaboration with project field staff and MEAL.
- Undertake regular field monitoring visits to assess ongoing activities and contribute to the preparation of progress reports.

Compliance and Team Support:

- Participate in ad hoc sector meetings to address challenges and priorities, developing action plans as needed.
- Support project staff in performing their roles and responsibilities, providing knowledge transfer as necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and facilitating productive discussions with staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure activities are implemented in line with organizational standards, including the COOPI Code of Conduct, Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), and policies.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Nutrition, or similar relevant education.
• Proven at least one year experience in implementing livelihood or economic recovery programs in a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong understanding of livelihood interventions, income generation, and market-based approaches.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and challenging environment.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and data analysis tools.
