Responsibilities
-Monitoring the displacement and return movements in Deir Ezzor governorate and maintain updated information.
-Conduct field visits to locations with displaced and returned populations (for the Emergency respond and other Impacted events), and conducted rapid need assessment and preparing situation reports, analytical reports, and service mappings as required by organization (qualitative, quantitative, graphic reports...etc).
-Facilitate the coordination of protection, shelter, and NFI services in Deir Ezzor, urban, and rural areas, in close consultation with organization.
-Build good relationships with all actors present in the area, including community leaders, to facilitate networking and information gathering that could enhance the humanitarian assistance provision.
-Serve as the entry point for organization ’s visits to geographic locations, supporting mission logistics and networking.
-Participate in joint assessments, needs analysis and identification of gaps in all sectors and report the observation to organization.
-Organize and facilitate the FGDs and sessions on protection issues, both individually and in groups, under organization ’s guidance.
-Monitoring NFI distribution activities, coordinating with authorities, partners, and organization to ensure effective implementation.
-Monitor shelter and infrastructure projects, identifying needs and gaps and inform organization.
-Monitor, evaluate and measure the impact of organization programs implemented directly by the organization or through partners against the set baselines and indicators as per guidance and SOPs provided by organization.
-Participate in coordination and working group meetings as requested by organization, providing summaries and insights to organization focal points.

-Submit weekly/ daily progress reports and analytical reports on activities, needs assessments, and program impact, as per organization requirements.
-Regularly gather feedback from persons whom organization work with and for, regarding services, assistance provided, and general needs, conduct PDM, PIM and reporting findings to organization.
-Provide recommendations on the improvement of services and suggestions for new intervention.
-Perform additional tasks as required by organization to support the implementation of protection, shelter, and NFI activities across all assigned areas


Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, International Development, Humanitarian Affairs, Social Work, or related fields.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in humanitarian work, preferably with UN agencies, national or international NGOs.
-Strong experience in humanitarian response, particularly in protection, shelter, and NFI sectors.
-Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-point
-Fluency in Arabic and good communication/reporting skills in English.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
Desirable:
-Strong understanding of the local context in Deir Ezzor, including cultural nuances, security risks, and access challenges.
-Experience in needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing.
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop clear and concise reports.
-Willingness to work irregular hours and adapt to changing circumstances.
