Responsibilities
Assisting in the process of reviewing data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
Assisting the audit team in the process of examining and analyzing accounting records to determine financial status of the company.
Assisting in the process of examining and evaluating financial information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Participating in the process of inspecting items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions.
Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and cancelled checks.
Assisting in the process of preparing detailed reports on audit findings.
Performing other duties assigned by the direct supervisors.
