Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of materials and construction practices to ensure that all work meets ‎specifications, industry standards, and quality expectations.‎
Site Coordination: Manage and coordinate activities between different teams on-site, including subcontractors, ‎architects, and inspectors to ensure project alignment and smooth operations.‎
Resource Management: Oversee the availability and allocation of resources, including equipment and materials, to ‎maintain workflow continuity and avoid delays.‎
Documentation: Keep thorough documentation of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and ‎construction schedules to track progress and provide accurate records.‎
Cost Control: Assist in monitoring the project budget, identifying potential overruns, and suggesting cost-saving ‎measures to keep expenditures within limits.‎
Technical Problem-Solving: Provide engineering solutions to on-site challenges, interpret complex blueprints and ‎layouts, and ensure proper implementation by the construction crew.‎
Health and Safety Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks, enforce safety ‎protocols, and ensure all site personnel adhere to health and safety regulations.‎
Client and Stakeholder Communication: Update clients and stakeholders on project status, resolve issues, and ‎incorporate their feedback to meet their expectations and project goals.‎
Environmental Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with environmental regulations, taking steps to ‎minimize the impact on the environment and follow sustainable practices when possible.‎
Site Preparation: Oversee preparatory activities such as site layout, excavation, and foundation work to ensure proper ‎setup before major construction phases begin.‎
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.‎
Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction or related fields.‎
